Onewheel – Self-Balancing Technology Skateboard

Onewheel is a totally new experience that is both completely unique while incorporating your favorite elements of other boardsports. It has the most advanced motion sensing, hub motor and battery technology available. It uses gyros, accelerometers, proprietary algorithms and a single rubber tire to give its passengers a smooth, self-balancing ride that supposedly mimics surfing or snowboarding on dry land. Onewheel has only one moving part, but sophisticated sensors and control electronics make that motion magical. There are no hand controls, with the self-balancing technology that it uses just lean forward to accelerate, lean backward to slow down and stop.

Onewheel iPhone and Android apps enable customization and monitoring of your Onewheel. The Onewheel iPhone + Android apps enable Digital Shaping, much like a surfboard is shaped for a particular rider and conditions, Onewheel can adjust to meet your needs and ability. The apps features different riding modes, top speed limiting, tracking ride activity through GPS, and sharing with friends, locking the Onewheel, and more.

Most people can learn to ride Onewheel in a couple minutes even if they’re not used to boardsports. That’s because controlling a Onewheel is so intuitive. Powerful sensors and sophisticated algorithms are constantly helping you balance and control your ride with just the forward or backward lean of your body.

The frame of Onewheel is CNC machined from solid billet 6061 aluminum. This creates the lightest and strongest vehicle. The motor is a unique design, integrated into the hub of the wheel, and manufactured to a very high standard of performance and finish and the deck is made from high-quality Canadian maple, just like the finest skateboards.
